I am unable to login to ShowMyHomework
Your ShowMyHomework username and password is the same as the one you use to login to the school computers. (e.g. jbloggs19)
In the username field. Please ensure you are typing in your school username and not your email address.
I am unable to login to School Email
You can access your school email account via the topbar menu on our website. Select the Pupils drop down menu, and then select Email.
Your login is your school email address and usual school password.
Your email address is your school username followed by @henleyschool.com
How do I access Microsoft Teams?
Microsoft Teams has clients available for desktop (Windows, Mac), web, and mobile (Android and iOS). These clients all require an active internet connection.
Accessing MS Teams via a web browser
Microsoft Teams can be accessed through the school website, via the blue menu bar at the top. Click on the Pupils drop down menu and select Microsoft Teams.
You can now login with your school email address and password. Your school email address is your username followed by @henleyschool.com
Accessing MS Teams via a smartphone or tablet app
To access MS Teams via the mobile app, keyword search “microsoft teams” in either the Google Play Store, or Apple App Store, to download the app. Once it’s finished downloading, open the app and sign in with your School email and password.
I do not have access to Microsoft Office at home.
Students and staff can use Microsoft Office software at home at no cost while they are part of the Henley-in-Arden family.
This software includes Word, PowerPoint, OneNote, Access, Publisher and Outlook and will work on Windows, Mac, iOS and Android devices.
How to Install Microsoft Office
- To download your free copy please visit www.office.com and select Sign in
- Sign in with your school email address and password. * Your email address is your username followed by @henleyschool.com e.g. email@example.com
- If prompted, choose to sign in with work or school account.
- From the Office365 home page select Install Office apps or visit www.aka.ms/office-install
- Select Office 365 apps to begin the installation.
- This completes the download of Office to your device. To complete the installation, follow the prompts in the “Install Office” window.
The Microsoft Office license is linked to user accounts in school. When a student or a member of staff leaves and their account is disabled the Office Suite will go into Reduced Functionality Mode and will have to be uninstalled.

I am unable to reply to an email from my Teacher / Form Tutor
When responding to a group email please ensure you click “Reply” and not “Reply All”.
Student’s do not have access to send emails to groups however you can email your teachers or other users directly.
ShowMyHomework is slow to load
ShowMyHomework are experiencing higher traffic volumes than normal due to school closures across the country. They have worked very quickly to put additional resources in place to prevent slowness.
If you do experience slowness please be patient and allow a little longer for items to load.
Slowness could also be caused by your home broadband connection during peak times.
MathsWatch is slow / not letting me login
MathsWatch have been experiencing technical difficulties recently due to high traffic numbers and they are monitoring the situation closely.
Please allow extra time for any action on the platform. We are finding that users will eventually get into the system.
Multiple clicks is often counter-productive and will often slow the process down so please be patient.
I'm a parent, and would like to access to my child's ShowMyHomework account
If you have not already received a parent PIN code for ShowMyHomework. Please contact our technical support team using the contact form below. Alternatively, you can call 01564 792 364 and select option 8.
