Pastoral Support

At Henley in Arden School, we believe that students achieve their very best when they feel safe, supported and valued. Our Pastoral Team is dedicated to ensuring that every child is known as an individual and has access to the guidance and encouragement they need to flourish both in and beyond the classroom.

We understand that young people may face a range of challenges during their school journey, whether related to friendships, emotional wellbeing, attendance, behaviour, family circumstances or mental health. Our experienced team works closely with students, parents and carers, teaching staff and external agencies to provide timely, personalised support that removes barriers to learning and promotes positive outcomes.

Every student belongs to a year group led by a Head of Year, supported by dedicated pastoral staff and tutors who build strong relationships with students and families. Where additional support is required, we can provide mentoring, early intervention and referrals to specialist services, ensuring that the right help is available at the right time.
